Conceptually bold, Vogrinčič’s works and interventions are often installations that take a long time to realize, but are limited in time, even short-lived, surviving only in photographs. Their production in neither fast nor reproducible; instead, it requires time for careful evaluation of conceptualisation and a lot of patience for the execution. And even though the main premise of all of his interventions is the multiplication of some basic, carefully selected installation element, the artist never repeats his works; they are always only temporary and eventually removed or destroyed, leaving behind only a photograph as a document and a work of art.
