Prijave tudi letos potekajo samo preko spleta med 5. januarjem in 3. februarjem 2026.
Vpisnina znaša 15 evrov (10 eur za dijake, študente in upokojence). Udeleženci jo plačajo najkasneje do 3. februarja 2026 z nakazilom na KUD Art Stays, Prešernova ulica 1, 2250 Ptuj, TRR odprt pri banki NLB št.: SI 56 02150-0255064888, namen EX-TEMPORE 2026, sklic: SI00 182026. Ob prijavi je možno tudi naročilo kataloga 18. edicije nagrade v katerem bodo objavljena dela vseh udeležencev (format A5). Znesek za nakup kataloga je 10,00 eur in se poravna skupaj s prijavnino.
Tema: karneval, kurent, pustne maske, pomlad in prosta tema.
Vsak udeleženec sme prijaviti in oddati največ eno likovno delo. Format slikarske podlage: ne manjši kot 30×30 cm in ne večji kot 120x120cm. Format malih plastik največ 60x60x60cm, max. teža 10kg.
Oddaja del: Oddaja del prvega kroga ocenjevanja poteka preko spleta. Fotografijo likovnega dela nam pošljete najkasneje do 3. februarja 2026 (do 24.00) po elektronski pošti na naslov extemporeptuj@gmail.com. Prosimo za kvalitetno fotografijo likovnega dela v višji resoluciji (min. 150x150mm, 350 dpi). Ime datoteke naj vsebuje: ime, priimek, naslov dela (primer: Janez Novak, Maska). V primeru tridimenzionalnega dela (kip, relief ipd.) prosimo za min. 3 fotografije (ena od teh v visoki ločljivosti). Pomembno je da fotografije prispejo na elektronski naslov do torka 3. februarja 2026 (do 24.00).
Prvi krog izbora likovnih del bo opravila mednarodna strokovna žirija v sredo 4. februarja in izbrane avtorje tudi nemudoma obvestila o izboru v drugi krog. Izbrana dela v prvem krogu bodo avtorji morali dostaviti ali poslati preko pošte na naslov Galerija mesta Ptuj, Prešernova ulica 29, 2250 Ptuj, najkasneje do sobote, 7. februarja 2026 (do 17.ure.). Drugi krog izbora dobitnikov nagrad in priznanj bo opravila mednarodna strokovna žirija v soboto 7. februarja 2026.
V soboto, 7. februarja med 9.00 in 16. uro pa vabimo vse “slikarske šprinterke in šprinterje”, ki ne bodo oddali dela preko spleta do 3. februarja, na PLEIN -AIR SLIKARSKI DOGODEK v staro mestno jedro Ptuja, polnega raznolikih mask. Vsi, ki bodo svoje platno začeli in končali na Ptuju (žigosanje praznih platen med 9. in 10. uro v Galeriji Art Stays, Slovenski trg 1, Ptuj), bodo uvrščeni v drugi krog in na razstavo finalistov nagrade. Prosimo da ob prijavi spodaj označite, če se boste udeležili plein-air dogodka. Vsi sodelujoči se morajo prijaviti v spletnem obrazcu in poravnati prijavnino. Prijava bo možna tudi na dan dogodka ob žigosanju slikarske podlage.
Vsak avtor zagotavlja, da je oddano delo njegovo avtorsko delo in da je bilo ustvarjeno v letu 2026, ter da ni bilo nikoli razstavljeno ali objavljeno na spletu oz. drugje.
Prispele fotografije lahko organizator takoj uporabi za namene promocije likovne nagrade in Kurentovanja 2026. Spletno bo objavljen in tudi natisnjen (po naročilu) katalog vseh prispelih del.
Virtualna razstava vseh prispelih del bo objavljena na spletni strani www.artstays.si, razstava finalistov nagrade bo postavljena v Galeriji Magistrat, v Mali galerije Galerije mesta Ptuj in v Mladinskem kulturnem centru Stara Steklarska med 9. in 27. februarjem 2026. Organizator razstave ne prevzema odgovornosti za morebitne poškodbe ali druge škode razstavljenih del. Vsako delo mora biti opremljeno in pripravljeno za razstavo. Na hrbtni strani morajo biti navedeni naslednji podatki: ime in priimek ter poštni naslov avtorja, elektronska pošta in telefonska številka. Naveden mora biti tudi naslov likovnega dela, tehnika in prodajna cena (bruto, v eur).
Otvoritev razstave in podelitev nagrad bo v soboto, 14. februarja 2026, ob 10.00 v Galeriji Magistrat v Mestni hiši na Ptuju (Mestni trg 1, 2250 Ptuj). Sledil bo sprehod do Mladinskega kulturnega centra Stara Steklarska in do Galerije mesta Ptuj, kjer bo postavljen del razstave finalistov tudi v Mali galeriji.
Mednarodna strokovna žirija bo podelila odkupno nagrado Grand Prix Mestne občine Ptuj v višini 1.100,00 eur, veliko odkupno nagrado Hotela Ptuj (Eurotas Hoteli d.o.o.) v višini 800,00 eur, 2 (dve) odkupni nagradi MO Ptuj v višini 500,00 eur, nagrado za najbolj izvirnega kurenta v višini 150,00 eur, nagrado društva Art Stays in Galerije LUNA, priznanja strokovne žirije in druge odkupne ter praktične nagrade. Preko spleta bo omogočeno glasovanje za nagrado občinstva v višini 150,00 eur. Skupna vrednost vseh podeljenih nagrad je ocenjena na 5.500,00 eur. Vse nagrade so v bruto zneskih. Dobitniki odkupnih nagrad so dolžni odstopiti likovna dela ne glede na določeno prodajno ceno.
Razstava likovnih del bo postavljena v Galeriji Magistrat, v Mali galeriji Galerije mesta Ptuj in v Mladinskem kulturnem centru Stara Steklarska. Vsa razstavljena dela bodo sodelujoči avtorji lahko prevzeli v Galeriji mesta Ptuj, Prešernova ulica 29, Ptuj, med 3. in 27. marcem med 11. in 17. uro (ponedeljek zaprto). Dela, ki jih avtorji ne bodo prevzeli do petka 27. marca, postanejo last organizatorja.

When registering, it is also possible to order the catalog of the 18th edition of the award, which will feature the works of all participants (A5 format). The price of the catalog is €10.00 and is payable together with the registration fee.
Theme: carnival, kurent, carnival masks, spring and free theme.
Each participant is allowed to apply and submit a maximum of one work of art. Painting format: not less than 30 × 30 cm and not larger than 120x120cm. Sculpture format maximum 60x60x60cm, max. weight 10kg.
Submission of works: The submission of the first round of works takes place online. Send us a photo of the artwork no later than February 3, 2026 by e-mail to extemporeptuj@gmail.com. We ask for a quality photo of the artwork in a higher resolution (min. 150x150mm, 350 dpi), the file name must contain the name, surname, title of the work – example: John Brown, Mask. In the case of three-dimensional work (sculpture, relief, etc.) we ask for min. 3 photos (one of these in high resolution). It is important that photos arrive by email by Tuesday, February 3, 2026 (by midnight).
The first round of the selection of works of art will be conducted by an international expert jury on Wednesday, February 4, and the selected authors will be immediately informed about the selection in the second round. Selected works to the second round will have to be delivered or sent by mail to the Ptuj City Gallery, Prešernova ulica 29, 2250 Ptuj, no later than Saturday, February 7, 2026 (until 17.00). The second round of selection of winners and awards will happen on February 7, 2026 in the evening.
On Saturday 7 February between 9.00 and 16.00, we invite all “painting sprinters” who have not submitted their work online by 3 February, to a PLEIN-AIR PAINTING EVENT in the old town of Ptuj, full of diverse masks. All those who start and finish their canvas in Ptuj (stamping of blank canvases between 9 and 10 am at Art Stays gallery, Slovenski trg 1, Ptuj) will be entered into the second round and the finalists’ exhibition of the prize. Please indicate when registering if you will be attending the plein-air event. All participants must register with on-line form and pay the registration fee. It will also be possible to register on the day of the event at the time of stamping the blank canvas.
Each author guarantees that the submitted work is his own work and that it was created in 2026, and that it has never been exhibited or published online or. elsewhere
The organizer can immediately use the received photos for the purposes of promoting the art award and Kurentovanje 2026. A catalog of all submitted works will be published online and in print (on demand).
A virtual exhibition of all submitted works will be published on the website www.artstays.si, the exhibition of the finalists will be set up in the Gallery Magistrat, Small Gallery of Ptuj City Gallery and The Stara Steklarska Youth Cultural Center between 9 February and 27 February 2026. The organiser of the exhibition guarantees the careful handling of the works of art, but accepts no responsibility for any damage or other loss to the works exhibited. Each work must be equipped and prepared for the exhibition. The following information must be provided on the back: the author’s name and postal address, e-mail and telephone number. The title of the work of art, technique and selling price (gross, in euros) must also be stated.
The opening of the exhibition and the award ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 10 am in the Gallery Magistrat at the Ptuj City Hall, Mestni trg 1, Ptuj. This will be followed by a walk to the Stara Steklarska Youth Cultural Center and the Ptuj City Gallery, where part of the finalists’ exhibition will also be on display in the Small Gallery.
The international expert jury will award the Grand Prix of the Municipality of Ptuj in the amount of 1,100.00 euros, Major redemption prize of Ptuj Hotel (Eurotas Hoteli d.o.o.) in athe amount of 800,00 eur, 2 (two) redemption prizes of the Municipality of Ptuj in the amount of 500.00 euros, the prize for the most original Kurent in the amount of 150.00 euros, the prize of the Art Stays Society and LUNA Gallery, expert jury awards and other redemption and practical prizes. Voting for the audience award in the amount of 150.00 euros will be available online. The total value of all prizes awarded is estimated at €5,500.00. All prizes are in gross amounts. Winners of redemption prizes and the Grand Prix are obliged to donate works of art regardless of the set selling price.
The exhibition of artworks will be held at the Magistrat Gallery, the Small Gallery of the Ptuj City Gallery, and the Stara Steklarska Youth Cultural Center. All exhibited works will be available for pick-up in the Ptuj City Gallery, Prešernova ulica 29, Ptuj between 3 and 27 March 2026 between 11 am and 5 pm (Monday closed). Works that will not be picked-up by the authors until March 27, become the property of the organizer.
